01 AESTHETIC DISCRETION
Deployment in cultural and public spaces (museums, sculpture gardens ) required an ultra-compact form factor. The challenge was integrating a LoRaWAN patch antenna, PCB, and supercapacitor within a minimal footprint while respecting a strict 10mm RF clearance zone without external antenna bulk.
02 ADAPTIVE MOUNTING
The sensor needed to adapt to any infrastructure: walls, floors, or organic structures like tree branches. Instead of bulky 90° brackets, I engineered modular accessory lugs compatible with standard 4xM4 floor fixation and strap-mounting for cylindrical poles, offering true 360° deployment flexibility.
03 ENERGY AUTONOMY
Eliminating wiring infrastructure required a self-powered solution. I integrated a solar harvesting system and a high-density supercapacitor, calculating the internal volume to the millimeter to house energy components without compromising the IP-rated sealing or structural integrity.
